Where managed it services creates value
- 01
The boundary is written
The onboarding runbook states what Prime Alley operates, what your team retains and how an incident crosses that boundary without losing time.
- 02
Recovery is demonstrated
Backups are tested through scheduled restores, with the result and remediation visible in the same service report as uptime and response performance.
- 03
A named team learns the estate
Known engineers and shared runbooks replace a rotating queue that begins every incident by rediscovering the environment.
Scope
What the engagement covers
- 0124/7 monitoring with response times and escalation paths written into the contract.
- 02Patching on an agreed cadence, with change windows your business signs off.
- 03Backups verified by restoring them, on a schedule — not assumed until the day they are needed.
- 04Monthly service report showing missed targets as prominently as met ones.
- 05A named engineer who stays on the account, not a rotating queue.

Questions
What buyers ask us
Do you replace our internal IT team?
Usually not. The service is designed around the work your team wants to retain and the work it wants covered after hours or under a firmer operating discipline. Responsibility is recorded in the onboarding matrix.
What does 24/7 cover mean?
The contracted cover window, severity definitions, response targets and escalation contacts are stated in the SLA. A proposal should never use 24/7 as shorthand without defining what actually happens at 3am.
How do we know backups are usable?
Restore tests run on an agreed schedule. The result, recovery time and any corrective work are included in the service record rather than inferred from a successful backup job alone.
Start with a scoped technical assessment
One to two weeks, fixed scope and a written findings report you keep whether or not Prime Alley delivers the work that follows.
